Prept. Foundation presents the first of the brand new Prept Collabs series at the two-Michelin Starred Opheem in Birmingham.

Chef Patron Aktar Islam will welcome fellow Michelin-starred chef, Great British Menu two-course winner and Prept Ambassador, Jean Delport for a one-off culinary event. The menu will showcase the creative talents of both Aktar and Jean, highlighting their shared passion for bold, innovative, and progressive flavours.
Jean’s approach to fine dining reflects his roots in Cape Town, bringing a deep appreciation for terroir, seasonal ingredients, and fire cooking – an ethos that aligns perfectly with Opheem’s culinary philosophy.
Aktar strives to push the boundaries with Indian flavours, but with cooking techniques from all over the world, some traditional, and some very modern.
Speaking about the collaboration, Aktar said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to cook alongside our good friend Jean for the evening. I’m looking forward to bringing our styles together for this special event in support of the Prept. Foundation, helping to inspire the next generation of chefs.”
